South Island Artists

A small group of artists who live on the southern end of Vancouver Island have gotten together to share ideas and their work. A love of art and a desire to show it to the public are two of the reasons this diverse group have joined together.

Goward House Show

This commissioned portrait was painted from a photograph for a gentleman on Vancouver Island.
Since this young man had been an Air Cadet I decided to paint their logo in the background for a more personal touch.

Chemainus Gardens

This painting is of the beautiful Chemainus Gardens campground in Chemainus, B.C. The figures are a couple from Victoria that my husband and I met there. They loved to feed the birds and the fish that swim about in the large pond on the property.
